BENT, Jason Dean ~ Age 44, of Brooklyn, Annapolis Co., passed away suddenly at his home, Sunday, June 21, 2020. Born in Middleton, he was a son of Frank (Phyllis) Bent Jr. and Heather (Garnet Keddy) Bent. Jason was a very hard worker; he was a Foreman at Dexter Construction. Jason was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed his time as an arborist.  Jason loved his grandson dearly and taking him to the barn, for tractor rides. And loved teasing his family, he was a prankster. Jason is survived by his parents, Frank (Phyllis) Bent Jr., Middleton and Heather (Garnet Keddy) Bent, Burlington; spouse, Alicia Ogletree, Brooklyn; daughters, Brooke and Madyson Bent, Fraxville; son, Nicholas Ogletree, Brooklyn; stepson, MacKenzie; grandsons, Daxson and Riley; brother, John (Trish) Bent, Berwick; nephews, Kyle, Keaton, Jacob and Jeremy; nieces, Isla and Shauna-Lynn; father and mother-in-law, John and Joanna Ogletree; brother-in-law, Jeremy (Lisa) Ogletree; sister-in-law, Krista (Matthew) Ogletree; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jason was predeceased by his brother, Trevor Bent; maternal grandparents, Henry and Iva Nichols; paternal grandparents, Frank and Marjory Bent. A private family graveside service will be held in Nictaux Cemetery. A celebration of Jason's life will be held at a later date.
