HIRTLE, Rev. Jean Louise - Age 74, Cambridge, Kings. Co., formerly of Berwick, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022, in Valley Hospice, Kentville. Born on February 14, 1948, in Prospect, Kings Co., she was a daughter of the late Gordon H. and Helen J. (Hutt) Best. For 23 years, Jean shared in the life of a pastor with her late husband. Jean is survived by daughter, Marie (Daryl) Lainson, Kitchener, Ont.; granddaughter, Hannah; sisters, Charlotte (Roy) Williams, East Kingston; Donna Bezanson, Morden; Debra (Michael) McLearn, Canaan; brothers, Eric (Margaret) Best, Morristown; Terry (Brenda) Best, Lethbridge, Alb.; sister-in-law, Yvonne Best, Aylesford; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Donald G. Hirtle; sister, Geraldine Coleman; brothers, Donald Best in infancy; Calvin Best. Graveside service 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, in Burlington Cemetery, Barley Street, Burlington, with Rev. Sarah Scott officiating.
