George, Jennie Katheryn ~ age 99 of Greenwood, NS passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in North Kingston, NS, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Lottie (Ramey) Palmeter. Jennie was involved in the Kingston Bible College & Academy where she worked and taught in her early years.  She was an active member of the Bible Baptist Church. Jennie loved feeding birds and gardening vegetables and flowers. She was a fantastic cook and devoted her life to being a wife and mother.  Jennie is survived by her daughter, Gareth George, Greenwood; sons, Malcom "Mike" (Peggy Taylor), Spa Springs; David (Darlene), South Williamston; daughter-in-law, Rosena, (Eric), Greenwood; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Jennie is predeceased by her husband John Robert "Bob"; sons, Eric Robert; Lloyd in infancy; sisters, Marion, Wilma, Florence; brothers, John; James "Bud". Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 6-8PM in the Middleton Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held 2:00PM Sunday, July 3, 2022, with Rev. Bruce Kaiser officiating.  Interment will take place following the service in the North Kingston Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
