YAFAI, Jennifer Mary ~ age 69 of South Greenwood, NS passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville surrounded by her loving family. Born in Sussex, England she was a daughter of the late Peter and Molly (Murison) Harding.

She lives on through the love of her husband, Dr. Abdul Aziz Yafai, South Greenwood; her children, Karim (Pamela) Yafai, Quispamsis, NB; Alia (Anthony) Sorbetti, Gaspereau; Maryam Yafai (Mike Poirier), Quispamsis, NB; grandchildren Hugo, Hector, Margot, Matilda, Susanna, Otto, Ivy, Farah, Layla, Mira; her sister, Jane (David) Casby, Manchester, England; and her brother and sister-in law Abdul Jalil and Anne Yafai, Coalville, United Kingdom. The family would like to thank their very close friends Jackie LeBlanc, Dr. Paul and Cathy McGuire, and Dr. Kevin McGuire for all the support over the years.

Jennifer will be remembered for her zest for life, sense of style, and fun-loving spirit.   Her warmth and generosity, coupled with her wit and humour, brightened the lives of those who knew her. She had a passion for crafts, swimming in the sunshine, dancing to Rod Stewart in the kitchen as she cleaned, and decadent desserts. In her early years she worked as a secretary for the WHO in Geneva, before devoting her life to raising her family. Jennifer loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.
