Passed away peacefully on July 12, 2017, at the age of 88.

She happily lived the majority of her life in Port George with her late husband, Everett. Jessie enjoyed and found comfort in the simple things in life. Although she faced many hardships, Jessie's resilience and strong will always found a way to shine. In her later years she became passionate about coloring and enjoyed sharing her talents with others. She cherished the company of her close friends and the caring staff at her nursing home. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Port George at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 18th with Rev. Patty Beals Officiating.  Donations in Jessie's memory may be made to SPCA or any local animal shelter.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. 902-825-3448.
