CLARK, Joan Elizabeth "Joanie" ~ Age 63, of Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born on October 24, 1956, in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late George E. and M. Peggy E. (Hebb) Andrews. Joanie was a long-time member of Aylesford Baptist Church. She had been employed as a faithful employee of Orchards Away Day Care, Berwick, for over 20 years. Joanie loved family gatherings enjoyed all kinds of music, and enjoyed listening to the group Sonlight. She was an avid sports fan and faithfully followed the Toronto Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and Raptors. Joan loved her cat, Shadow who she affectionately referred to as "my boy". Surviving are sisters, Barbara (the late Gerry) Dempsey, Morden; Janet (Randy) Dempsey, Windermere; Joyce (Brian) Fitch, Greenwood Square; brothers, John (Joyce) Andrews, South Greenwood; Frank (Laura) Andrews, Windermere; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald E. Clark; brothers, Thomas, David, Kenneth Andrews and one in infancy; nephew, Darryl Andrews. There will be no visitation. A private service will take place in Aylesford Baptist Church, with Rev. Clyde Lowe and Pastor Patrick Gilbert officiating. Interment will take place in Morristown Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Aylesford Baptist Church or your favourite charity.
