Obituary

LANGEVIN, Joan Helena RETD CPL, CD 56yrs, of Greenwood, NS passed away December 16, 2010 at home. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late John and Renne Kelly. Joan retired from the Military Police after 20 years of service and was awarded the Commanders Accommodation for Bravery. She was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 98 Kingston. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Ron Langevin; daughter, Brandi Langevin (Matt Cross), Edmonton; son, John Langevin, Kingston, Ont; sisters, Gail (Barry) Bolt, Kamloops, BC; Louise (Barry) Boutilier, Chester; brothers, Frank Kelly, Golden, BC; James (Laura) Kelly, Bonnyville, AB; William Billy Kelly (Karren), Chester; Kevin (Pam) Kelly, Victoria, BC and granddaughter MacKenzie. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers John, Sydney, Bobby and Timothy. A Legion Tribute conducted by Kingston Branch No. 98 will be held 11:00AM Monday, December 20, 2010 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448.
