MORSE, Joan Elizabeth-66, of Torbrook Mines, passed away, Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Middleton, she was a daughter of the late Holloway James and Evelyn (Selwah) Morse. Joan had been employed as a cook in several restaurants in the area. She was a foster mother to many children and was also a good friend to many people. Joan is survived by daughter, Melissa (Chris) Hubley, Torbrook Mines; sons, Marcel Landry, Middleton and Christopher Hutchinson, Ontario; grandchildren, Kobie and Kendall, sister-in-law, Lorna Morse, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Jim. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 22nd at the United Pentecostal Church, Middleton, Pastor Dean Dickinson officiating. Interment will be in Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square. By request, family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lupus Society of Nova Scotia.
