Rex, Joan Anne – 86 of Greenwood Square, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Springhill N.S., she was the daughter of the late John and Annie (Dembenski) Wallis. Joan was a member of the Airforce Association of Canada and Ex. Airwomen Association. She enjoyed travelling. Joan and James were married for over 68 years. Surviving is loving husband Arthur "James"; sons: Robert James (Diana), Winnipeg; William Thomas (Theresa), Lawrencetown; John Wallis (Joan), Brampton; Peter Allen (Steve Martin), Toronto; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren with one more on the way. She was predeceased by her sons David Andrew and Michael Wayne. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 pm Friday, December 15, 2023, at Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, Middleton. Chaplain Wade Seymour officiating. Reception will immediately follow the service in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Wiswall Cemetery, Wilmot.
