Robar, Joan Marlene ~ age 66 of Torbrook, NS passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Middleton, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Sylvia (Garber) Crouse. Joan loved animals, especially their dog, Foxy. She enjoyed good conversation, the outdoors and old country music, but her family was the most important thing to her and she loved them dearly. Joan will be deeply missed by her common law spouse, Melvin Anderson; daughters, Martha Robar (Dwayne Parker), Torbrook; and Darlene Robar, Torbrook; sisters, Janet Reeves, Wilmot; Juliette Gordon, Middleton; and Judith Robar, Torbrook; brothers, James Crouse (Gloria MacDonald), Kennetcook and Jack Crouse (Jayne), New Ross; grandchildren, Anthony Robar, Ashley Milbury and Tyler Robar; and 3 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Joan was predeceased by her brother, John. In keeping with Joan's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service.
