McCloskey, Joanne Ellen - May 22, 1955 - July 9, 2015 Daughter of Joan Milne and the late Gilbert McCloskey. Joanne is survived by her partner and soul mate, Piers Churchill, of Victoria Vale N.S., mother, Joan Milne of Redwater Alta.; two sisters, a brother, and their families, Barbara Guy of Edmonton Alta, Trish McCloskey of Peterborough, Ont. and John McCloskey of Toronto Ont. Joanne took great pleasure in living a simple life. She loved the birds in the yard, taking her dogs for a walk, outings to Round Bay, making preserves with the many berries found on their property, and visits to the neighbor. But most of all Joanne will be remembered for her kindness, caring, and selfless compassion for everyone. Loving and kind in all her ways, upright and just to the end of her days; sincere and true, in her heart and mind, beautiful memories she left behind.
