Obituary

BAKER, John Lorne Alexander - 46 of Wilmot passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at home. Born in Middleton, he was a son of Harold Baker, Hampton and the late Freda (Woodworth) Baker. John worked at many different jobs, but will be remembered most for his ability to accomplish anything he put his mind to and for his willingness to help everyone. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. John is survived by his father Harold and step-mother Barbara; fiancé Courtney Stronach, his children Sarah Baker and Cody Baker both of Texas, Emma Hiltz, Meadow and Brody Baker all of Kentville; sisters Virginia (Stephen) Brown and Sheri Baker, both of South Williamston, Maria Baker, Inglisville; brothers Danny, Bridgetown and Hal (Karen), Wilmot; foster brother Ronald Hubley, Lawrencetown; step-sisters Suzanna Sancton, Dartmouth and Arlene (Mike) Bridges, North Carolina; step-brother Wayne Hunter, Hampton, NS and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Friday, September 4th in the Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St. (902) 825-3448, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 5th, Rev. Clyde Lowe officiating. Private family interment will be in the Whitman Cemetery, Lawrencetown. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, I.W.K.
