It is with our broken hearts that John Charles Baker, born in Ontario, March 7, 1954, earned his wings to Heaven's gate on October 16, 2025.

His love for family and friends, camping, travel, and let's not forget electronics in many forms. His love and patriotism for his country in the Airforce as Warrant Officer John Charles Baker MMMCD. Proudly served in the military for 30 years. When one has a piece of wire or a remote control in their hand it will bring fond memories of him to us. The apple of his eye was his granddaughter, Emma Jean Ruth Sampson.

He is predeceased by his son, Michael John Charles; mother, Margaret Loates (Gagnon); father, Frederick Baker; sisters, Joanne, and Vicky Hiscock.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Ann; daughter Alaina Christine Ann, and son-in-law, Jason Patrick Sampson; stepson, Kevin Moore and wife Angela; grandchildren, Jordan, and Johnathan Moore; MacKenzie Bell; Emma Sampson; and sisters, Courtney, Elizabeth, Sharon; and brother Danny.

His wings were ready, but our hearts were not. Fly high and free in the sky till the 12th of never my love till we meet again.
