Deveau, John Courtney -Age 76 of Church Point, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, in Digby General Hospital.  Born in Middleton, he was the son of the late Walter and Marion Deveau of Middleton. Surviving are his wife, Ann V. Deveau; daughters, Tammy (Jamie), Meteghan, Angie (Junior) McNutt, Truro, Christina (Kourtney),  Alberta; brothers, David (Margaret) Deveau, Lawrencetown, Eric (Lib) Deveau, Ontario, Ernest (Judith) Deveau, Ontario; granddaughter, Tiffany (Tyler); one great granddaughter on the way; grandson,  Michael (Laura);  two great-great grandchildren; several  nieces & nephews;  several great nieces and nephews;  several cousins near and far away. John loved his family and friends and loved the outdoors and working with his hands on any kind of vehicle. He worked at Oakhurst Farm Middleton and Boudreau Pig Farm in Church Point for many years. He enjoyed building his garage with his nephew, Christopher and barbecuing with nephew, Paul (Doris), great family meals and great laughs with niece, Patricia (Tim). John was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm Tuesday, March 8 ^th in Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St.,  toll free 1-855-825-3448. Due to current pandemic gathering restrictions, there will be limited numbers for the service. Masking and hand sanitizing are required at all indoor ceremonies.
