McLEAN, John "Jack" K. ~ Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on September 17, 2020. Jack is survived by his wife, Diane E. McLean (Roy) and 4 children, Ron, Jacquey, John, Tina; sisters, Nancy and Sue. He was also a grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 7. Jack was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. He was born and raised in London, Ont. At the age of 17 he joined the military and served as a flight engineer on the Hercules and 707 aircraft, retiring after 25 years of service. He joined "Wardair" airlines flying 727 aircraft, retiring for the second time at age 65 with his wife, Diane in Kingston, NS where they have lived for 22 years. Jack was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 98, Kingston. There will be a private service at a later date. Donations in Jack's memory may be made to a charity of choice.
