John Michael "Mike" Flinn's Obituary
FLINN, John Michael "Mike" – age 64, of Kingston, NS passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Michael's fight with cancer is finally over. Born in Charlottetown, Michael was the only son of Bill and the late Jean (Graham) Flinn. Mike enjoyed political science, was an avid reader and loved math and crossword puzzles. He also loved all things Irish. Mike will be sadly missed by his father Bill of Kingston; daughter Jessica Flinn of Digby; son John "J.P." Flinn of Windsor, NS and sister Elizabeth Flinn of Wilmot. In keeping with Mike's wishes, cremation has taken place. A burial will be held in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Kingston at a later date. Donations in Mike's memory may be made the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to thank the doctors for their care and support through the years, especially Dr. P. McGuire of Kingston, Dr. J.P. McCarthy of Kentville and Dr. Riberio of Middleton. Also thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the third floor at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital for everything; you were wonderful!
