TAYLOR, John Leslie ~ age 77 of Middleton, NS passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. John was a son of the late Ansel and Mary (Banks) Taylor. John was a truck driver for 38 years and later transferred to the shipping dock and retired as a dock hand loading train box cars. He loved his family dearly and anyone that knew John knew that he loved his Ford truck. John and Marilyn would enjoy going for drives and listening to country music. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. John is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Marilyn, Middleton; sisters, Marilyn Chute (Wayne Verrette), Meadowvale; Audrey (Richard) Elmore, Middleton; brothers, Ivan (Jose) Taylor, Kingston; Danny Taylor (Wendy), Middleton and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son John and brother Gerald Taylor. In keeping with John's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Hillside Cemetery, Port George. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
