WILKINSON, John William ~ Age 56, of Delta, B.C., formerly of Waterville, Kings Co., passed away suddenly at home in Delta, B.C., on June 27, 2019. Born on May 17, 1963, and raised in Waterville, N.S., he attended the Waterville School and Central Kings Rural High. John moved to B.C. and for many years lived and worked in Kamloops, later moving to Delta and joining SJ Geophysics Ltd., for several years mapping grids etc. in the northern bush country which he immensely loved. John leaves behind his daughter, Sarah; and son, Mathew (Kaitlyn) both in B.C.; and his dear beloved partner, May "Mhitzi" Cayaman who he referred to as his guardian angel; his mother, Joy (Bruce) Parker, Berwick, N.S., sister, Debra Wilkinson; sister in-law Audrey Jones, both of Princeport, N.S.; aunts, Pat Odak , Sandra Perry, both of Waterville, N.S.; uncles, Peter Young, Nanaimo, B.C.; Sid Young, Lequille, N.S. A memorial service was held in Delta on July 2, 2019. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Riverside Funeral Home and Crematorium with instruction from the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, Middleton, N.S., toll free 1-855-825-3448. A family committal service will be held at a later date in Berwick Cemetery, with Rev. Tom Woods officiating.
