WOOD, John Wayne ~ age 49 of Kingston, NS passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 16, 2019 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Berwick, he was a son of Whitney Wood, Deep Brook and Geraldine (Wagner) Wood, Wilmot. John loved fishing and going hunting. He will be loved and sadly missed by all who knew him. Besides his parents, he is survived by his son, Johnathan Wood, Kingston; sisters, Faye Wood, Auburn; Judy (Wayne) Yohnke, Wilmot; Darlene (Raymond) Roche, Kingston; Bonnie Wood (Mike Higgins), Kingston; Nancy (Sam) Cassar, Parkers Cove and brother, George Wood, Kingston. He was predeceased by his brother, Whitney Wood, grandparents and several aunts and uncles. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Thursday, March 21, 2019 in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448.
