BALOGH, Joseph Richard "Joe" - age 84 of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Kipling, Saskatchewan, Joe was the son of the late Joseph and Barbara (Szakacs) Balogh. Joe had served with the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1950-1953 having been stationed in Greenwood. Joe later worked for Bruce Motors, Lorne Frasers Garage, Aircraft Technical Canadair and North West Industries. He retired in 1996 after 22 years with IMP Aerospace as a Quality Control Supervisor. Joe loved music and was an avid country musician and a member of the Song Writers Association. He was a faithful member and past Deacon of Bethel United Baptist Church in Dartmouth. Joe is survived by his sisters, Emma Johnson, Winnipeg; Marjorie Walton, Port McNeil, BC; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife the former Ferne DeMone; sister Charlotte Kish and brother Arthur. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00PM until the service begins at 2:00 PM Monday, November 2, 2015 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1 (855) 825-3448 with Rev.
