Daniels, Joyce Emmaline – Age 96 of Middleton, Annapolis Co., passed away peacefully Sunday, January 7, 2024, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in North Williamston, she was a daughter of the late William and Ruth (Sellers) Illsley. Joyce was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be fondly remembered for the special care she gave to her son, John. Joyce loved to have company, the teapot was always on and ready. She enjoyed times spent with family and at the cottage on Trout Lake. Joyce is survived by daughter, Judy (Malcolm) Uhlman, Greenwood; grandson, Luke, Bangor, ME; granddaughter, Jennifer (Mike) Chapeau, Centreville; great grandchildren, Taylor, Cameron and Rosalie; brothers, Fred (Marian), Middleton; Frank (Marianne), Nictaux; sisters, Jean Johnson, Sault Ste. Marie, ON; Nancy (Ralph) Veinot, Greenwood; sisters-in-law, Alice, Hopewell and Helene, Scarborough, ON; several nieces and nephews, all very special to Joyce. Besides her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Harold; son John; brothers, Gerald, Gordon, Charlie and David; sister, Freda. Cremation has taken place.
