Hubbard, Joyce Arlene – Age 88 of Middleton, Annapolis Co., has gone to be with her Lord and Savior. She passed peacefully Monday, April 11, 2022 in Valley Hospice, Kentville. Born June 13, 1933 in Brazil Lake, Yarmouth Co., she was the daughter of the late Agustus and Viola (Elderidge) Watkins. Joyce was devoted to her church and family. She loved to read her Bible daily. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She is survived by daughters, Cheryl (Larry) Wilkinson, Middleton; Donna (Doug) Leach, Mississauga, ON; granddaughter, Michelle Wilkinson, Cherry Brook; grandson, Joshua Gratton, Vancouver, BC; great grandchildren, Dylan and Raeleigh Wilkinson; nieces and nephews; special nieces who were like sisters to Joyce, Lorraine Pinkney and Ruby Gaudet. Besides her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Alan Hubbard; brothers, Chester, Lovitt, Clifford, and Clarence (in infancy). Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 14 ^th in Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., Middleton toll free 1-855-825-3448. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 16 ^th in United Pentecostal Church 500 Main St., Middleton. Pastor Ryan Shephard officiating. A livestreaming of the funeral will be available beginning at 1:55 p.m. AST by selecting the livestream option on the top of the funeral home's website. There will be no reception due to current Covid numbers. Burial will take place 2 p.m. Monday, April 18 ^th in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Yarmouth Co.
