SCHOFIELD, Juanita Faye – age 78 of Waterville, Kings Co., passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in South Waterville, on June 4, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Arthur B. and Lulu G. (Sawler) Lightfoot. Juanita was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Eugene W. Schofield; daughter, Donna (Wayne) Johnstone, Waterville; sons, Everett Schofield (Debbie Hohn), New Minas; David Schofield (Angie Keddy), Waterville; grandson, Chad (Melissa) Schofield, Sackville; brothers, Merville Lightfoot, Orangeville, Ont. (who passed away later the same day); Sheldon (Karen) Lightfoot, Kentville; sisters, Diane Jones, Berwick; Linda Lightfoot, Kentville; Darlene Foster, Berwick; sisters-in-law, Winnie Lightfoot, Wilmot; Joy Lightfoot, Orangeville, Ont.; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Betty Jean Lightfoot in infancy; brothers, John, Robert and Irving Lightfoot. There will be no visitation. A private graveside service for family and close friends will take place in the Cambridge Cemetery, with Pastor Christina Bigelow officiating.
