MARSHALL, Judith Luana (Lewis) of Bridgetown N.S., passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, at the age of 85 years, in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown N.S. Judith was born in Gulliver's Cove, Digby Co. N.S. on August 28th,1939, she was a daughter of the late Charles Frederick "Fred" Lewis and Luana A (Height) Silcox.
She was predeceased by brother, Charles Henry (Josephine) Lewis.
Judy worked at the Scotiabank in Digby after Graduating school until she married Dwight and moved to Bridgetown in 1969 and worked in the Town office as Deputy Clerk until she retired.
Everyone who met Judy would always tell you she was truly an example of love, compassion, caring, and sweetness, and her family couldn't agree more. Her passion for Animals, hummingbirds, the flowers she planted out and inside her home was well known to everyone. Her Hobbies were baking and making awesome meals for whoever was there to enjoy. Judy truly loved being a grandmother and was very proud of all her Family. She took the time to make the holidays and birthdays special to all that was there. Judy made many memories with her family in N.S and her family in Saskatchewan that we will cherish forever.
She is survived by her husband Dwight; her children, Pamela (Gary) Wake, Kindersley, SK; Jamie Marshall (Melanie Maberley), Welsford, Kings County, N.S.; brothers, Richard (Yvonne) Lewis and Lealand (Karen) Lewis; grandchildren, Adam (Christina) Wake, Ryan Wake (Stacey), Justin Wake (Kyla), Amanda (James) Francis; Carrie Morgan, Bria Marshall, Morgan (Heather) Marshall and 18 Great Grandchildren.
A celebration of Judith's life followed by a reception will be held 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16 in Middleton Funeral Home. Donations in Judy's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia .
