DUFOUR, Judith May "Judy" – age 69, of New Albany, Annapolis Co., passed away suddenly, at home on Sunday, August 20, 2017. Born in Kentville she was a daughter of the late Charles Stewart and Violet (Wallace) and was step-daughter to the late Jack Sullivan. Judith was devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed time spent reading and working on crossword puzzles. Surviving are companion, Gerald Pearse, New Albany; daughters, Heather (Clay) Bent, Bridgetown; Holly Pearse, Kitchener, Ont.; son, Robert (Michelle Doucette) Pearse, Yarmouth; grandson, Robert Declan Murphy; brother, Dan (Sherry) Sullivan, Kentville; sister, Debbie Thorne, Dartmouth/Yukon; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son, David in infancy; grandson, Ryan Clay; brother, John Sullivan; sister, Cathy Nelson. There will be no visitation or service. A private interment will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Diabetes Canada or to a charity of choice.
