Obituary

McMahon, Judith of Greenwood passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Montreal, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert Carsh and Mary (Rutter) Rudski. Judith also lived in London, Petawawa and West Germany before moving to Nova Scotia. She was known as a caretaker of animals and people in distress and could often be seen walking or biking around Greenwood between jobs and favours. She served as custodian at Remax and Pine Ridge Middle School. Prior to that, she worked at Pizza Delight and various other restaurants in Greenwood and Middleton. Judith is survived by her son Lance (Jodi) McMahon, Fort Smith, N.T.; brothers Ken (Karen) Carsh, Lion's Head, ON and Ernest (Rose) Carsh, London, Ont.; grandchildren Shae, Alexander and Sadie. She was predeceased by her husband Barry and a brother Richard. By request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M.. Saturday, October 25, 2014 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448, Rev. Eugene Foster officiating. A reception will follow the service in the Funeral Home. By request, no flowers please. Donations in memory may be made to the SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society.
