WARD, Judith Ann ~ age 72 of Auburn, Kings Co., NS, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Verena Henderson. Judith was employed with Sawler Gardens Ltd as a vegetable packer and would help out from time to time at the Farmers Family Diner, Aylesford. She was a very hard-working person and there was nothing you could do to slow her down. Judith was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing bingo with her friends. She is survived by her children, Steven Baker, Auburn; Sheila (Gary) Blades, Aylesford; Robert (Dorothy) Baker, New Minas; Charlene Whynot, Wilmot; Jonathan Baker, Aylesford; brothers and sisters, Pauline, Glenn, Sharon, Ronnie, Harold, Carl Henderson, Anita Bailey, Myrtle Phillips, Sheila Vesterfelt and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, LeRoy. In keeping with Judith's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 3, 2023, in St. Mary's Anglican Cemetery, Auburn. A reception for family and friends will follow in the Aylesford & District Fire Hall.
