CORKUM, Judson Darrell "Jud" ~ Age 85, of Aylesford East, Kings Co., passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on December 15, 1937, in Waterville, he was a son of the late Aubrey E. and Hennrietta M. (Rogers) Corkum. Jud retired after 22 years at 14 Wing Greenwood in Electrical Engineering. He was an apple producer for 56 years. Jud was a lifetime member of Aylesford & District Lions Club. He enjoyed sports including basketball, badminton, golf, curling, softball, baseball, and hockey. Jud was an avid Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Canadiens fan.  Surviving are his loving wife of 64 years, the former June M. Veinotte; daughters, Darlene Corkum, Waterville; Valerie Corkum, Aylesford East; sons, Bradley (Margo) Corkum, Kentville; Randy Corkum, Kingston; grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle) Corkum, Berwick; Hannah Corkum Nicholls, Waterville; Zane Corkum, Kingston; brother, David (Susan) Corkum, Centreville; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Elsie, Thelma, Marion, Eveline, Martha, Crystal, Edna and Eleanor; brother, Lawrence.
