WELLS, Julia May ~ age 86 of Berwick, NS passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023 in the Valley Hospice, Kentville. Born in Moser River, NS she was a daughter of the late Murray and Agnes (Bezanson) Naugler. Julia was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse who worked in Sheet Harbour, Lunenburg and old Halifax City Hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Janice MacLean (Phil Morris), Chester Basin; sons, Murray (Josephine) Wells, Port Hastings; Norman (Lorraine) Wells, South Rawdon; sister, Alma Schaffenburg, Lunenburg; grandchildren, Brandon Wells, Laura Ippolito, Krissy Sole, Jennifer MacLean; nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Walter "Irvin"; sisters, Nina Smith, Hannah Mills, Ruby Keizer, Alice MacMillan; brothers, Kenneth Naugler and Herbert Naugler. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until service begins 2:00pm Monday, October 16, 2023 in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton.
