DALTON (Connors), June Elizabeth ~ Age 86, of Waterville, Kings Co., passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020, in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville. Born in Waterville, she was the adopted daughter of the late Ralph and Emma Baltzer. June was brought up in Lakeville and had worked at Canada Foods, Kentville. Later moving to Waterville, she had volunteered at the green houses at Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre and for the Victorian Order of Nurses calling residents to check in on them. She is survived by several in-laws and good friends and neighbours, Fred and Millie Oickle and their family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by first husband, James Shaffer; second husband, Wilfred Dalton; daughter, Bonnie Baltzer; son, Robert " Bobby" Shaffer; brother, Walter Baltzer. There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will take place in Cambridge Cemetery, with Lic. Chris Wickens officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to Kidney Foundation of Canada or to Diabetes Canada.
