Obituary

ELLIOTT, June Edna 93 of Vancouver, B.C., formerly of Middleton, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2010, in Whitecliff Care Home, Vancouver, B.C. Her first husband, Wesley Neily (whom she married October 1937 and moved to Middleton) predeceased her. They had two children, David and Gail. Daughter Gail; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren as well as extended family survive her. June was a hardworking member in the community and worked at home raising children and accommodating boarders who just became part of the family. She worked many years at the Roy Smith Jewelry store and was a valued employee. June later married Roy Elliott in 1986 and they enjoyed many years of travelling together. Roy passed away in 2002. In her last two years she enjoyed a companion living in the same facility, giving each other a great deal of enjoyment.
