Wood, June Mable ~ age 82 of Inglisville, Annapolis Co., passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Inglisville, Annapolis County, she was a daughter of Carl and Florence (Connell) Ruggles. June delivered the rural mail for 32 years for Canada Post and spent a lot of time working alongside her husband Billy. June devoted her life to raising her family and loved her family dearly, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. June is survived by her  sons, LeRoy (Sue) Wood, Inglisville; Robert "Bud" (Stefanie) Wood, Nictaux; daughter, Rhonda (Mike) Bezanson, Inglisville; daughter-in-law, Gail Ruggles, Inglisville; sisters, Esther Thomas, Brickton; Madeline (Richard) Height, North Williamston; grandchildren, Jeremy Ruggles, Ottawa; Ryan Ruggles, Alberta; Melissa Wood (Will), Inglisville; Jason (Karen) Wood, Windsor; Dawson Wood, Falmouth; Allison Bezanson (Justin), Lawrencetown; Jordyn Bezanson, Inglisville; Lauren Burns (Joel), Halifax; great-grandchildren, Landon, Scarlet, Jaxon, Jazmine, Max; step-greatgrandchildren, Anna Martin and MacKenzie Martin;  numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, June was predeceased by her husband, William "Billy"; son, Ronald and brother, Garnet. In keeping with June's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in the Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown with Juanita Richardson officiating.
