ADAMS, Katherine Lorraine - 79 of Meadowvale, Annapolis Co., passed away suddenly on June 27, 2011. Born in Beaconsfield, Annapolis County, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Goldie Marshall. She was employed with the Sanatorium in Kentville for many years and then the Mountain Lea Lodge for the remainder of her working career. She is survived by her partner Lloyd Weir, daughter Gayle (Gary) Stewart, sons Gary (Charlene) Hannam, Glendon (Carolyn) Hannam; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; sister, Marilyn (Ray) Balcome/Gaudet, brothers Thurston, Ronald (Marg), Clesson Marshall and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Shirley Adams, sister, Juanita Pierce, and brother, Lorimer Marshall. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Bridgetown on Thursday June 30th at 2 oclock. Pastor Herb Anderson officiating. Family flowers only.
