MAPPLEBECK, Katherine Jane "Kathy" - 54 Meadowvale passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of Shirley (Melanson) Wile, Bridgewater and the late James Wile. She was employed as a LPN on the Winslow Unit at Grand View Manor, Berwick for 16 years. Kathy enjoyed walking on the beach, being with friends and loved animals. She is survived by her husband, Eric Mapplebeck, Meadowvale; mother, Shirley Wile, Bridgewater; sons, Jason Mapplebeck (Amy Flemming), Ontario and Jeremy (Dawn) Mapplebeck, Bridgewater; sisters, Susan (Terry) Parks, Nictaux and Sharon Wile, Middleton; brother, Andrew (Carla) Wile, Nictaux; grandson, Lachlann and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, James. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, December 11, 2012 in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating.
