CHEEKE (Burgess), Kathi Auldis – age 58 of Torbrook, NS passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, NS. Born in Halifax, NS, she was a daughter of the late Gerald Kenneth and Barbara Elaine (Snow) Burgess. Kathi will be remembered as a very kind, friendly and loving person to her family and friends. Surviving are common law husband, Michael Vidito, Torbrook; sons Barry James Cheeke, Halifax and Chad Thomas Cheeke, Halifax; sisters Kelli (Joe) Ross and Kim Turple both of Fall River, NS and Karen (Keith) Golden, California; brothers Kenny (Linda) Burgess, Cape Breton, NS, Gary (Donna) Burgess, Fall River, Phillip (Leanne) Burgess, BC and Gerald (Darlene) Burgess, Fall River; sister-in-law Valerie Blackmore, Fall River and two grandchildren, Haley and Ariel Cheeke as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Carl Burgess. In keeping with Kathi's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (toll free) 1-855-825-3448 with Rev. Paul Jennings officiating. Interment will be in the Nictaux Cemetery. A reception for family and friends will be held at 5:00 PM at the home of Kelli and Joe Ross, 72 Alpine Drive, Fall River.
