BAKER, Kathleen ~ Age 98 of Lower Sackville, formerly of Margaretsville, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, May 8, 2019. Born in Halls Harbour, NS, she was a daughter of the late Cyrus and Laura (MacDonald) Stuart. A proud World War II veteran, Kathleen served as cook in the Army. When Kathleen wasn't spending time with her loving family you could find her in the kitchen baking rolls and pies for her community of Margaretsville.

She is survived by her daughters; Shirley (Fred) Mason, Greely ON, Alice Fiske, Lower Sackville, NS; son Frank Baker, Kentville, NS; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frank; brothers, Howard, Wells, Arthur, Ernest, Kenneth, Gordon, George; sister, Blanche and son in law Edgar. There will be a private graveside service 11:00 AM, Monday , May 13, 2019 in Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square with Rev. Deann Carter officiating.
