MARSHALL, Kathleen Hazel "Kay" ~ age 77 of East Torbrook, NS passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Debert, NS, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Mildred (Peppard) Findlay. Kay loved knitting, puzzles and her soap operas. She was an active member of the West Kings Community Fair and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Kay loved her family dearly, especially all of her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Stewart Marshall, East Torbrook; daughters, Cathy (Paul) Kinghorn, Halifax; Shelly (Larry) Gates, Middleton; sons, Jim (Anne) Marshall, East Torbrook; Mike (Marie) Marshall, Berwick; sisters, Doris Findlay, Meadowvale; Helen (Rick) Westfield, Quispamsis, NB; brother, Allan (Joyce) Findlay, Wilmot; grandchildren, Andrew Marshall (Josanne Robicheau), Kingston; Jenna Marshall (Jaydon King), Wolfville; Gregory Marshall, East Torbrook; Brandon Marshall (Meaghan Coventry), Lakelands; Matthew Marshall (Shevon Chmura), Middleton; Emma Kinghorn and Amanda Kinghorn, both of Halifax; Ryan Gates (MacKenzie Lingard) and Hayley Gates, both of Middleton and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Lillian; brothers Richard, Perley, Vernon, Gordon and Lionel. In keeping with Kay's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00PM-3:00PM Sunday, October 9, 2022, at the Kingston Fire Hall, 570 Sparky Street. All are welcome. Private family interment will be held in Tremont Cemetery.
