LEE, Kathleen Mary "Kay" ~ Age 80, Greenwood, Kings Co., passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on December 3, 1938, in Adare, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Kathleen F. (Crowley) Wallace. She was raised in Galway and later emigrated to Canada in 1958. She was committed to her family – and she was a great mother devoted to her two sons. Kay also had many close friends who helped her especially in her final years. Kay loved animals and enjoyed golf – having come from a true golfing family in Ireland. She loved to travel which included many trips through Europe, Ireland, and the UK - and in later life around North America. Surviving are sons, Tom (Ronda) Lee, Lower Sackville; Bernie (Margaret) Lee, Halifax; sister-in-law, Anita Wallace, Sweden. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Bernard J. Lee; brother, Kevin Wallace. A private family service will have taken place with interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Kingston with Rev. Deacon Don Boudreau officiating. All are welcome to attend a time in celebration of Kay's life that will take place from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, June 15 , in Kingston & District Fire Hall, 570 Sparky Street, Kingston.
