TREAU de COELI, Kathleen (Kay) Mildred, February 1925-August 2013 Kay passed away peacefully on August 8 surrounded by her loving family. Her great faith in God sustained her. She was born in Mushaboom, NS, the eldest child of Essie (Boutilier) and Charles Beaver. A seven year resident of Crosskilll Court and Mountain Lea Lodge, she previously retired to Paradise with her husband Leo who has predeceased her. They worked together through their married lives owning and operating several restaurants throughout Nova Scotia and Florida. She loved her family and friends dearly especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her many volunteer pursuits included the Middleton Food Bank and Palliative Care. Kay and Leo traveled extensively in their retirement. Introduced to Bill W. 21 years ago, she found a happy new life and never looked back. She is survived by her daughters Judy Beaver (Murphy Cove), Ruth Smith (Liverpool) and Sandy (Victor) Bayley (Waldport, OR), six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren as well as four sisters, Cora Josey, Eva (Roy) Boutilier, Dorothy (Harold) Hart and Phyllis (Ronald) Munroe and two brothers Charlie Beaver and Foster (Betty-Ann) Beaver. Besides her husband Leo she was also predeceased by a daughter Janet (Andrew) Weber and four brothers, Cecil, Harold, Stanley and Laverne Beaver. Grateful thanks goes from her family to all the caregivers at Mountain Lea Lodge who made her last years so comfortable and to all family and friends who visited, sent food and gave countless hugs and good wishes. Service will be held at St. Monica's Catholic Church, Middleton at 11 a.m. on Saturday August 10. Family flowers only, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
