Obituary

MILES, Kathleen May - 81 of Greenwood passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Trenton, ON she was a daughter of the late Ernest E. and Mary (Westlake) MacDonald. In early years, Kathleen worked in Ontario and later, after moving to Nova Scotia, she retired from the Aurora Motel in Kingston. Kathleen enjoyed bowling, softball and dearly loved her family. She is survived by daughters Kelly Miles and Brenda Baltzer, both of Greenwood, Patti (John) Fraser, Miramichi, NB and Debora (Mark) Howard, Orlando, FL; son Paul (Pat) Miles, Cow Bay; sister Geraldine Ritchie, Trenton, ON; brothers Gerald (Betty) MacDonald, Burlington, ON and Wayne MacDonald, Trenton, ON; grandchildren Ashley, Alex, Mary, David, Jonathan, Nicholas, Amanda, Kathleen and Alexandria; great grandchildren Macey, Tavious, Aiden, Mia, Haley and Logan. She was predeceased by her first husband Donald Miles, second husband Arnold Pelton; sister Margaret, brother James and son-in-law George Baltzer. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 17th in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448. Visitation will also be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 18th, in the Middleton Funeral Home, with Rev. Michael Mugford officiating the service. Interment will be in the North Kingston Cemetery. By request, family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
