PHINNEY, Kathryn Evangeline, January 21, 1923 - December 4, 2013. After almost 91 years our loving mother has passed away. Born in Nictaux, she was a daughter of the late Charles Tedford and Etta Beatrice (Schofield) Vidito. Kathryn and her late husband Bob, retired to Port George 31years ago after raising their family in Ontario and western Canada. She is survived by a daughter Joanne Phinney-Crosby, Port George, son Robert (Elaine), Ottawa, brother Merle Vidito, Georgia, USA, sister in law Helen Murray-Robinson, Middleton. Grandchildren Ginny-Lou Crosby, Robert and Lisa Phinney and many fondly remembered nieces and nephews. Kathryn was predeceased by her husband Bob, brothers Reagh, Charles and Beverly as well as her sister Shirley. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10th, 2013 at the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448, Rev. Karen Ralph officiating.
