Obituary

BOWLBY, Kenneth "Russell" – age 77 of South Greenwood passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Berwick, he was the son of the late Kenneth R. and Marion Lorraine (Marshall) Bowlby. Russell was a businessman, farmer and entrepreneur. He loved the outdoors; hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved his family. Russell will be sadly missed by his wife, Diana (Ward); daughter Pamela (David) Bent of Middleton; sons Glenn Bowlby (Sherry McCormack) of Greenwood; Gregory (Darlene) Bowlby of Alberta;  Jeffrey (Amanda ) Bowlby of Greenwood and 10 grandchildren. Besides his parents, Russell was predeceased by his sister Phyllis Alevras. In keeping with Russell's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Donations in memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation Atlantic Canada Branch or a charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448.
