GALLAGHER, Kenneth McPhee ~ Age 87 passed away Friday April 3 ^rd 2020 at home. Born in Sambro, NS he was a son of the late Frederick and Verna (McPhee) Gallagher. Ken had a long military career as a flight engineer that started in England where he married his loving wife Frances who was his childhood sweetheart. While stationed in England, he and Frances went to over 40 theatres and going to movies remained a life long passion they shared. He also had postings in Summerside, Florida and retired in Greenwood.  After retiring from the military he worked for Purolator Courier for 10 years. Ken enjoyed playing cards and using his gift in woodworking to complete projects around the home. Ken will be sadly missed by his wife Frances, daughters, Kimberly (Mark McCarthy), Medicine Hat, AB, Debra Lyn (Jeannette Bechert) Raleigh, North Carolina, brother, Bill (Georgie) Gallagher, Dartmouth, NS and granddaughter Jennifer McCarthy. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the North Kingston Cemetery.
