It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Kenneth "Glenn" Bowlby, 61, of Greenwood on September 18, 2025.
Glenn was born in Middleton March 19, 1964. From a very young age Glenn was "born to ride" whether it be mini-bikes, snowmobiles, or anything with a motor. This continued his entire life from all day trips to the mill pond to 300+ km days on the trails. Glenn was the definition of hard work and family man. A pillar of the community and very successful multi-business owner he never let anything stop him, always finding a way to make things work. Glenn adored his family and was the first call any of them would make. He was always there to give advice, have a chat, or help in any way you needed. Someone you could count on all the time, every time, no matter what. Glenn was not just a dad; he was the dad. A busy schedule never stopped him from being at the end of the hockey rink or hauling a horse trailer down the road with a Timmie's in hand. Later in life that love for his kids came shining through again with his grandchildren, never missing an opportunity for a piggyback, wheeler ride or a simple "Grampie loves you". Camp was his favourite place and there was nothing he loved more than having family and friends there hanging out enjoying what his dad started, and he and his brothers finished.
Glenn is survived by his loving partner Tracy Way, Kingston; his children, Jessica (Eric) Banks, Weston; Lucas Bowlby (Aaryn Bell), Hantsport; Nicole Bowlby (Tyler Murphy), Nictaux; Tracy's children, Nick and Gillian McKinley; sister, Pamela (David) Bent, Middleton; brothers, Greg (Darlene) Bowlby, Greenwood; Jeff Bowlby (Alicia Ogletree), Greenwood; grandchildren Charlotte, Henry, Nora and one on the way; nieces and nephews, Nick (Megan O'Neil) Bent, Greenwood; Chad (Melanie) Bent, Middleton; Jillian (John) Sogorka, Middleton; Emily Bowlby, Greenwood; Abby Bowlby, Edmonton; Weston Bowlby, Greenwood; Ella Bowlby, Greenwood.
Celebration of Life will be held at the Berwick Lions Hall, Kings Mutual Century Centre, 250 Veterans Drive, Berwick on Saturday, October 25, 2pm-4pm.
