It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the sudden passing of Kenneth "Kenny" James Fredericks, age 52, of Auburn, Kings County, who passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 1, 2021, in Kentville, Kings County, N.S. Kenny died doing what he loved to do, drive. His proudest moments were the births of his two boys. Kenny spent the last 25 years of his life with his wife and best friend Kim. He was an amazing cook and loved to cook big meals like Christmas dinner for his family. Kenny was so full of life and loved to tease, he had a comment for everyone he met on the street! He loved cars and loved to clean and paint them. Kenny obtained his Autobody Certificate and worked as an automotive painter at Rick Balsor Welding in Aylesford and had also spent 21 years pursuing this same career at Powers Autobody in Berwick. Kenny was predeceased by his first wife, the former Isobel R. Hirtle; maternal grandmother, Estelle "Esther" Salsman; maternal grandfather, Ralph Salsman; paternal grandmother, Frances "Joyce" Wamboldt; paternal grandfather, Russell Wamboldt; uncle, Roger Salsman; niece, Alexis Connors. Survived by his wife, the former Kim Zwicker; sons, Kenneth (Stephanie), Margaretsville; and Kody; grandson, Trevor, Margaretsville; step-son, Skylar Hart, South Berwick; step-granddaughter, Summer; father, James Wamboldt, Waterville; mother, Elaine and step-father Steven Connors, Cambridge; brother, Grant (Crystal) Connors, Falmouth; sister, Tammy (Wayne) Pye, North Alton; nephew, Casey Connors; nieces, Jenny Wagner, and Mallory Connors; and many aunts and uncles. Interment service took place at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 5, in Berwick Cemetery, Main Street, Berwick, with Mr. Wylie Saltzman officiating. Donations in Kenny's memory may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448.
