ALMON, Kevin Joseph-44 of Port George, formerly of Dartmouth, passed away Monday, August 23, 2010 in Wilmot, NS. Born in Sydney, NS, he was a son of Jean Claude Almon, Sydney, NS and Margaret Almon, Dartmouth. Kevin was a sports enthusiast, particularly enjoying hockey and golf and also an avid history buff. Kevin was a very kind soul, a devoted husband, brother, son and friend who dearly loved his family and his cat Callie. He is survived by his wife, the former Melinda McNeil; sister, Darlene Almon (Louie Hopper), Dartmouth; brother, Brian (Lynn MacKenzie), Germany; stepmother, Lily Almon, Sydney; stepbrother, Ryan Almon, Truro. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until service time at 2:00PM, Friday, August 27, 2010 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448. Father Gerald Saulnier officiating.
