Freeman, Kevin James - born in Middleton, Nova Scotia, Kevin passed away on August 10th, 2017, at the age of 56 in Norfolk General Hospital, Ontario, after succumbing to severe head injuries. Loving husband of Ethel (Watts-Kinchsular); step-father of Denise, Barbara and Margaret; step-grandfather of seven and step-great grandfather of two beloved children. Kevin was predeceased by parents, Stillman and Beverly Freeman; nephew, Trevor and niece, Amanda. He is survived by brothers, Larry, Robin (Lesley Mitchell), Brian (Rhonda White), Dale (Tammy Chiasson); sister, Heather (Brian Hilko); nephews, Stephen, Jordan, Trevor, Logan, Declan and niece Olivia. Kevin worked and resided for many years in Ontario, plying his trade as a mechanic in Simcoe and surrounding area. Being an incurable tease and prankster, Kevin enjoyed and proved to be the instigator of many a plot while growing up on Brickton Corner, Annapolis County. Let's just say that law enforcement knew where Kevin Freeman lived especially during the late 70's.  Kevin will be laid to rest at a graveside service at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 7, 2017, at the Rossway Cemetery located on Digby Neck, NS with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. The graveside service to say our goodbyes to Kevin is open to all family and friends wishing to attend.  Donations in Kevin's memory may be made to the charity of choosing.
