LONG, Kevin Willard - age 57 of Wilmot passed away, surrounded by his family, Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Willard Wallace "Bill" and Edith Beulah (Guest) Long. Kevin was employed for 30 years with Michelin Canada, Waterville as a setup mechanic. He was a very dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and brother-in-law. Kevin loved hockey and golf. He loved his family dearly especially the grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, the former Cathy Bromley; sons, Robb Long (Dorothy), Bridgewater and Josh (Michelle) Long, Port George; sisters, Diane (Bob) Hardwick, Aylesford; Debby (Rocky) Hebb, Brickton; brothers-in-law, Eric Bromley, Wilmot and Mark (Vickie) Bromley, Waterdown, ON and grandchildren, Aslyn, Jovi, Jacob and step granddaughter, Alyssa and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Kevin's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Friday, January 9, 2015 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448. Memorial service will be held 2:00PM, Saturday, January 10, 2015 in the Fellowship Baptist Church, Melvern Square, with Rev. Bruce Kaiser officiating.
