LEVY (Bent), Kimberly Angela — age 50, of Kentville, NS, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Born in Enderby, British Columbia, she was a daughter of George and Edith Barrett, and of her adoptive parents, Bob and Sonja Bent.
Kim was a talented and passionate chef, always striving to expand her culinary skills. Throughout her career she worked in several well-loved establishments, including the Falcourt Inn, Old Orchard Inn, The Anvil in Wolfville, The Inlet in Mahone Bay, Paragon Golf & Country Club, and most recently The Capitol Pub in Middleton.
Outside the kitchen, Kim's heart belonged to the outdoors. She had a deep love for horses, waterfalls, hiking, and photography—places and moments where she found peace and inspiration.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Amelia Levy, Berwick; her sons, Andrew Chesley, Torbrook, and Dennis (Tina) Chesley, Bridgetown; and her granddaughter, Farah Kate Rose Chesley. She is also survived by her sisters Sharon, Michelle, Christie, Melinda, and Tina, and her brothers, Glenn, Randy, and Ronald.
Kim was predeceased by her siblings Tammy, Bonnie, Jimmy, Bill, and Rick.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Kim's life will be held 2:00PM Friday, November 28, 2025 in Middleton Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Tysick officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
