Hoffman, Lamont Neil "Monty" – Age 63 of Melvern Square Annapolis Co., passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Middleton, he was the son of the late Neil and Elizabeth (Dunn) Hoffman. Monty is survived by his son, William "Billy" Joseph Hoffman, Middleton; sisters, Connie (David) Book, Melvern Square, Mona (Tom) Balcom, Melvern Square; nephew, Justin (Lesley) Book, Margaretsville; nieces, Sarah (Jason) Book, Melvern Square, Jessica Balcom, Melvern Square; companion of many years, Christine Marshall. Monty lived a simple life. Not wanting for much, just to be happy with friends and family. He loved his dogs and enjoyed rabbit hunting. He drove blue Dodge dump trucks for many years with his dad. He loved growing crops and overlooking the Valley from his home on the hill. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held in Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square. A celebration of Monty's life will be held at a later date.
